My name is Sven Malojlo, I am a photographer.


One day everything started with people wanting to know which Lightroom Presets I use or how I edit my photos. I set up a newsletter for everyone who was interested and released my now well known SMAL Lightroom and ACR Presets to a newsletter of 150 amazing humans and never expected this to get as big as it is now! There is now a huge community of 53000+ Members on facebook.

This called for a change, cause I wanted something that reflects what SMAL has grown in to. It has become so much more, than just Lightroom Presets. There is this huge community without any drama, everyone teaches what they know, is kind in every way and everyone wants to uplift each other.

One night I was sitting there and it popped up to my mind. SOULMATE! That´s what this all feels like. A soulmate per definition is a person ideally suited to another as a close friend. As a close friend you can be honest, without anyone being hurt, cause everyone knows we all just want the best for every single one in this community.

With SOULMATE I want to push everything a lot further. That´s why it needed a dedicated website, cause there will be features, education, tutorials and a blog. I want to give everyone the chance to shine and be the best possible creative they can be. We will also dive into videography. How to film and color grade with the brand new SOULMATE LUTs. I am extremely excited and I am convinced you´ll love this new journey!
